We can use the binarySearch() method to find the index of an element in a sorted array. The input array must be sorted before using this method. Note: indexOf () compares searchElement to elements of the Array using strict equality (similar to triple-equals operator or ). Returns -1 if the element is not found in the array. This method executes the binary search algorithm. Returns the first index of the element in the array if it is present at least once. You can use a second argument to start your search after a particular index number in the string.
